Summary: An ominous card gives Maggie a clue of what might be ahead of her.
Author's Notes: I was at a loss for what to use for this prompt, when the Three of Swords (of the Tarot) popped into mind. It's been something I've been thinking of for a while, and it really seemed to fit.
Disclaimer: I don't know who owns the Rangers at this point: I'd guess Disney. At any rate, it isn't me. Maggie, if she appears, is MINE. Please don't take her.

The next card Chandra dealt had a large red heart on it, with three swords thrust into it. "That looks painful," Maggie said slowly.

"It usually means something quite painful," Chandra told her, setting the card in the next position. "It's a symbol of… well, those strange little incidents that life throws at us. Do you know what it refers to?"

"I'm not sure what you mean," Maggie said.

Chandra hesitated. "Do you have a boyfriend?"

"No, not really."

"Not really?"

"Well, I hang out with you guys, and Dean, and that's probably the closest I would come to it."

Chandra smiled. "Okay…. In that case, I'd be really careful. This card means heartbreak, whether it's yours or caused by you. It's all those things; disappointment, loneliness, betrayal. It's in your future, but it doesn't give any more clues than that."

Maggie smiled at her friend. "None of this looks particularly cheerful," she said, gesturing at the partially laid out Celtic Cross. "Is that normal?"

Chandra shook her head. "No, not really," she said. "The weird thing is, I get the feeling it's supposed to be a warning, the whole thing. I just wish I knew what of."

"Okay. I'll pay attention." It was definitely something she understood. She'd had that feeling for some time. Something was coming, and it was not going to be a good thing, either.
