There was a fire of determination in Tifa that Cloud had always wished was his. She was always so sure of herself, so sure that what she did was the right direction to take, whether against Shin-Ra and their abuse of the planet, or her friendship with Aerith or with Yuffie.

Or rebuilding Seventh Heaven.

He wished there was some way she could light him - sharing her fire like Nanaki and his tail-fire - so that he could stop wandering around, undecided, undetermined, dead inside. Zack and Aerith, he was sure, were disappointed in him.

It was no way to live.
