It never rained without Cloud thinking of Aerith.

Tifa knew it, and she understood. It wasn't hard on her; it rained so seldom, and when it was longer than a day, it was only the first day he seemed distant.

She wondered what he thought of, what part of her he remembered on those days. Was it seeing her for the last time, walking out of the church with Zack? Or the way she so selfless healed him and the rest of those around Edge? Or her help with the Bahamut?

She wondered silently. Maybe one day he'd tell her.
